We have two places available for work experience in our Debt Recovery Department. Each placement extends up to 8 weeks. Candidates are offered flexibility of working three days a week. One of the advantages of training with us is that you will be part of a smaller team and you will be given real and challenging work at an early stage. Your enthusiasm, intellect, opinion and energy will be recognised and valued.
These work experience placements are very important for the candidates who are seeking training contract as the individual's performance during these work placements will be carefully assessed to offer the training contract to the most suitable candidate.
During these placements, candidates will have variety of exciting experience. They will be a part of our newly establishing departments of Debt Recovery, Family, Employment and property. They will work closely with managing partner of the firm.
You must hold an LLB degree in good grades and although 2.1 in LLB is expected but not strictly required provided you can demonstrate your suitability for the role. If you have completed LPC and are looking for a training contract then you will have an advantage.
In addition to the practical experience you gain in your individual seats, we provide a continuing process of workshops and training sessions on developments in the law to enable you to extend your knowledge, so together with access to the firm's document management system and research systems on your desktop, you will have the best available tools to become a successful solicitor.
